This is my third HORSE sit-n-go......I could use a lot of help with the ORSE part!

I think I did OK, and did not get through many of the emails I wanted to.  I really had to concentrate because I am such a noob at ORSE.

Let me know what you think & what the biggest mistake I made was.

This was my first attempt at multi-tabling.  I tried playing the tournaments at the same time....two were turbo & one was short handed!

I didn't know I could talk so fast.

So you would see all the screens I stacked them on top of each other.  I think if they were spread out & was able to see them simultaneously it would have been more manageable.

This tournament highlights the old saying "All you need is a chip and a chair".

A bit of luck also helps!

This was a tournament made up of Third Person Poker listeners.

Everybody had a lot of fun.  We will be doing it again next month!

I was doing OK, until I lost control & made a stupid move.  It was worse than a bad move - a bad move is something that makes sense after the fact, but didn't turn out right - After not catching any cards for a while, I tried to defend my blinds well past the point of reason.

There were a lot of interesting plays, be sure to take notes of UncleWaldo's demonstration of excellent big stack poker.  He had the chips and kept pressing and pressing.

Aloha from San Jose!

I went to Bay 101 tonight and played for about 2 1/2 hours.

Overall I was impressed with Bay 101. The staff was friendly and professional. I ordered a burger that took a while to get to me, but it was hot when it got there.

I was told it is the best Poker Room in the Bay area. I wish it was closer to my hotel.

I will be going back on Thursday night!

This was a really exciting tournament! There was a lot of action throughout.

We are doing some new things in this vidcast. There are three hands where I stop the action and talk about how I played them. Please give me some feedback if you think I played them right. Minimizing losses on hands you will lose is _very_ important.

If you think you can analyze a hand as good as Columbo, drop me a line, I would like to have you as a guest. And yes, we will have Columbo back on as soon as he is willing!

Boy...I really did not feel it at all during this tournament. I made _many_ mistakes. Both in my playing and the commentary.

There are no doubt 5 or 6 places I zigged when I should have zagged. It is good viewing for a lesson on mistakes people make. I realize some of the mistakes right after I make them.

Enjoy this one, I think I lose with grace, but everyone flips out now and then. One good thing is that you will learn how I kick it when playing in the tournaments.

This is a no-limit tournament that I think is a really good template for playing touraments.

I played very tight while players were being knocked out, then got more and more agressive as the table emptied.

It wasn't a switch that I flipped, but more of a gradual change. I was able to steal with poor hands, and punish people when I had a good hand.

This is a free tournament I played recently at PokerRoom.

I like to free tournaments because it lets me practice particular parts of my game - things I would not want to do with real money. This tournament I played every connector and any ace.

Every major poker site has a free area that allows you to try things like:

• Ignore your cards...play the board
• Only play junk cards...never show anything good
• Only play when you have the nuts
• Push the top ten hands to the end
• and on and on and on

As you can expect there was lots of action as three crazy players were knocked out on the first hand. Very ineresting betting at the end.

Sorry about the video/audio sync, I tried a new product and it sucked. I did my best to fix it. As you can probably imagine, I won't be using this software any more.

This is a speed tournament I played recently at PokerRoom.

I like to play speed tournaments because it lets me practice my push game. Blinds go up every three minutes.

A lot of tight players have two gears, tight and kamikaze - nothing in between. You should have at least 4 gears: 1. Tight 2. Semi-Aggresive 3. Aggresive 4. Kamikaze

A professional poker player is able to play in any gear at any time. This is the biggest difference between a great player and a pro.

As you can expect there was lots of action because of the blind structure.

This tournament was full of very strange plays.

The outcome of this tournament is very suprising. When I watched it again, I couldn't believe it.

I felt like such a loser with what I said at the end of the tournament....maybe I was just tired.
